Rossin facilitates a range of expert instruction services relating to housing disrepair and associated matters. All instructions are managed centrally and allocated to appropriately qualified independent RICS surveyors based on the requirements of the case.
Inspection of residential properties in relation to alleged disrepair, including identification of defects, condition assessment and consideration of the relevant issues raised by the matter.
Coordination of CPR Part 35 compliant reporting prepared independently by the appointed expert where expert evidence is required for legal proceedings.
Measured assessment of remedial works and associated costs by the instructed expert using an appropriate rate basis for the case.
Instruction and coordination of jointly appointed experts where a single expert is required to act for both parties.
File-based review work where an inspection is not required or where preliminary consideration of documents is needed before further steps are taken.
Further reporting in response to additional evidence, points of clarification, updated instructions or later developments in the matter.
Where required, Rossin can coordinate attendance by the appointed expert for meetings, discussions or court-related requirements connected to the instruction.
